You should. Wellness is our body's natural state. Each of us is a self-healing organism. Sometimes, because of the demands of work or family combined with the stresses of life, we ignore the nagging aches and pains that come into our experience. Instead of tending to our bodies in the ways it desperately needs, we miss the signals because we are not listening to them properly. Some pop a pill or take an energy drink to ward off pain or lack of sleep. Short-term, it is possible to keep it up; Long-term, it is not sustainable.
What Can You Do to Self-Heal?
Here are a few tips that may be able to help:
Drink fresh, filtered, flat (not sparkling) water to detoxify your system
Eat fresh fruits (organic is optional)
Lightly steam your veggies or stir-fry them in coconut oil
Walk outside (rain or shine) for 20 minutes daily
Play with your pet
Listen to healing music: flute, chimes, nature sounds
Sit in silence for 10 minutes daily (this gives your mind a break)
